Ma’s Pantry

MA’s Pantry assists qualifying residents in the East McKeesport and North Versailles communities with supplemental food supplies.  Linway was one of five churches that founded MA’s in 1983 and continues to support this worthy mission.  MA’s is one of the oldest food supplement organizations in Allegheny County and is operated entirely by volunteers.  Food is distributed two Saturday mornings each month from its location on 1000 Broadway Street in East McKeesport.  For more information on eligibility and ways to help, please visit the MA’s Pantry website at www.MAsPantry.org ,  their Facebook Page “@MAsPantryPA”, or call 412-824-0277.

East Allegheny Meals-on-Wheels

East Allegheny Meals-on-Wheels prepares and delivers nutritious hot meals on a permanent or temporary basis to residents who are unable to shop or cook for themselves.  It is a non-profit organization that is housed in the Linway Church kitchen.  In 2019, EA MOW celebrated their 45 year anniversary.  For more information about EA Meals-on-Wheels, please call 412-327-6908 or visit their Facebook Page “East Allegheny Meals-on-Wheels”.

John Neba School in Cameroon, Africa

The mission project begun in Cameroon, Africa, was a dream of the Reverend Martha Neba-Mbandi. Martha interned here at our church in 2006–2007, as a candidate for ordination in the Presbyterian Church. This dream, now the John Neba International Ministries (JNIM), has now become a reality for her and those organizations that have been called by our Lord to help support her and this dream. Please watch the video to see the fruits of her commitment to our Lord.
